Chimney capping is the process of installing a cap or cover at the top of a chimney to prevent debris, rainwater, and wildlife from entering the flue. At TruTech Pest & Wildlife, we use a specially made cap that is wildlife proof, even from raccoons. The cap is stainless steel and has 18 gauge wire mesh to keep out pests and wildlife, such as birds, squirrels, and raccoons, that might otherwise try to enter the chimney.
